What is Fair use?

ALL photos are reserved.

Copyright infringement will be prosecuted under the Copyright Act of 1976.

Each web graphic on this site is registered with the Library of Congress under a body of work.  We have paid $$ to register these images so that we can easily confirm ownership.

Some people think that "fair use" means access to any graphic for their own purposes.
This is a misconception.

You may link back to our site, however- you may not place our images on your site.  Any illegal "lifting" of a graphic for commercial usage on your site will be prosecuted under the guidelines set forth by the Copyright Act of 1976.

This law is meant to protect the author's investment in a work to which the author has contributed originality, lending a uniqueness to the product that others might wish to duplicate without a similar investment in time, energy, or money.

Do not hide the real authorship of the work and presents it as yours.   Do not pull an image into the context of your own website, thereby appropriating the image and preventing the us from enjoying the traffic associated with it and most likely the credit for the image.

Website photos are copyrighted with the Library of Congress with the exception of certain already copyrighted materials, such as common trademarks, etc.

The photographer will also not permit any digitalization or synthesizing of the photographs, alone or with any other material, by use of a computer or any other electronic means for personal use.

If we can win a settlement with retailing giant  for copyright infringement, we will win a suit against you!  Please don't steal our images and represent them as yours.

Thank you.
